Xiaomi: Saturn sells a cell phone that doesn’t actually exist yet at a great price

• Xiaomi has so far only announced the Redmi Note 13 for the Chinese and Indian markets.
• The global version is actually not scheduled to be presented until January 15th.
• Saturn is already offering it for sale in Germany, as well as several other model variants of the Redmi Note 13 series.

While Xiaomi fans in China can already buy the new top model Xiaomi 14 and the new mid-range phones from the Redmi Note 13 series, fans of the Chinese manufacturer in this country still have to wait.

Xiaomi plans to unveil the Global version of the cell phone on January 15th, the company says X (formerly Twitter with). Then there should also be details about availability in Germany. But surprisingly, one of these models is already listed on Saturn: the Redmi Note 13.

This is not an import of the Chinese model, but judging from the pictures, it is the Global version, which does not officially exist yet. That’s surprising in itself, but the price is even more surprising!

Saturn offers the Redmi Note 13 with 128 gigabytes of memory for 199.90 euros. This makes it cheaper than its predecessor at market launch. At the time, Xiaomi was charging 249.90 euros for the Redmi Note 12 with 128 gigabytes of memory. Even the 64 gigabyte model went on sale with a higher recommended retail price of 229.90 euros. However, it remains unclear whether the price is Xiaomi’s official recommended retail price or a placeholder.

Compared to the Redmi Note 12, the 13 model primarily offers an improved camera. The resolution of the main camera was increased from 50 to 108 megapixels. In addition, the protection class of the device has been improved from IP53 to IP54.

In addition to the Redmi Note 13, Saturn has also listed other model variants of the cell phone – namely the Redmi Note 13 5G, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The prices for these correspond to the recommended retail price from the previous year, but Xiaomi apparently offers the devices with twice as much memory as their predecessors. Strong!
