The Chinese company Xiaomi continues to export its products to France, and this time it is the turn of its range of A2 televisions.

Approximately one year after the announcement of the P1 TV range, Xiaomi continues to want to sublimate our living rooms with screens with undeniable value for money.

Great quality, affordable price, but some concessions

With its very thin edges and its design foot (for two of the three sizes offered), Xiaomi’s A2 TV range has visually everything to please. But it’s not all about the exterior of the chassis, since the Chinese company has chosen to offer particularly honorable performance for affordable prices.

4K screen, Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Audio, DTS-HD… In short, the complicated terms accumulate, and it’s not just marketing, because all these technologies are not yet present on the entire TV market. 4K. In addition to the promised visual and audio quality, the A2 range relies on connectivity with the integration of Android TV 10 (and Chromecast technology) and the Google Assistant.

But where the shoe pinches, because some concessions have to be made for affordable prices, is in the lack of vision for the future: no HDMI 2.1, only 60 Hz and no VRR, to avoid cite only these technologies. It is therefore difficult to imagine buying a Xiaomi TV A2 to play the Xbox Series X or the PlayStation 5, and take advantage of their full potential, for example.

The A2 range is available in three models: 43 inches (499 euros), 50 inches (599 euros) and 55 inches (699 euros). The first sales will take place from June 28, 2022.
