Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 will soon get a Turbo version

Announced a few days ago, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip will soon make its debut in a first smartphone. It will undoubtedly be the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, a variation of the Redmi Note 12 series logically turned towards power. This smartphone is no longer at the rumor stage, since Xiaomi announces its presentation in China on March 28 at 7 p.m., or noon in France.

The brand reveals in passing the back of its device, quite similar to that of the Redmi Note 12 Pro, already formalized in China. Note, however, that the main photo sensor is different, since it displays 64 megapixels, against 200 Mpx for the Redmi Note 12 Pro + or 48 Mpx for the Redmi Note 12. The visual shared by Xiaomi also shows that the smartphone is equipped with a triple photo module, a mini-jack socket and a blue or white back shell.

The rumor takes care of taking stock of the other characteristics of the smartphone. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo would also be equipped with a 6.67-inch screen, in Amoled technology, and would display a Full HD + definition as well as a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It would carry a 5500 mAh battery and a 67 W charger. It remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will market its device internationally, its presentation being scheduled just five days after the global launch of the Redmi Note 12 series, carried by its Pro + model.
