XIII: the remake shows us its improvements in a gameplay video

In 2020, Microids and PlayMagic released a remake of XIIIfirst-person shooter in cel shading originally dating from 2003 and based on the comic book by Vance and Van Hamme. Problem, the result was not at all up to the expectations of the fans and despite many updates, the title still suffers from many flaws.

Microids then entrusted the development of a new version to Tower Five, which will launch next month and which will obviously be free for players who already own the remake. On the menu, a revisited graphic style, improved artificial intelligence, 60 fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, multiplayer and even a Switch version, which had already shown itself briefly. But this week it’s playstation who shares a video of gameplay of XIII turning on PS5, allowing to discover the new artistic direction and the frame rate at 60 frames per second. A much more convincing result than the title sold two years ago.

As a reminder, the release date of this XIII update and the Switch version is set for September 13.you can find the game at €39.99 on Gamesplanet.
