The manufacturer Xplora is one of the top dogs on the children’s smartwatch market. The manufacturer is based in Hamburg, but comes from Norway and has a total of three models in its range. The XGO2 is the manufacturer’s entry-level model.
The watch has a 1.4-inch TFT display, measures 52.5 x 42 x 15.6 millimeters and weighs around 60 grams. This makes it a little heavier than a normal children’s watch, but it also has a lot more functions. The communication options are central here, because it has telephony, messaging and also video chats.
The watch is IP67-certified and thus protected against the ingress of foreign bodies and splashing water. In addition to these features, the XGO2 also offers a pedometer that allows children to unlock games on the manufacturer’s site with movement via the GOPLAY platform.
