XTB: Tomasz Gawron appointed head of the broker’s new AI department

(Boursier.com) — The broker XTB announces the appointment of Tomasz Gawron as head of its new Artificial Intelligence (AI) department. Integrated within the Technology and Products department, this new unit will be responsible for integrating AI into XTB’s services and commercial operations.

“As a fintech company with an international customer base, we strive to be at the forefront of our industry amid the AI ​​and machine learning revolution. This new responsibility within XTB is essential to accelerate the implementation of advanced solutions, focused on this technology. We also consider it as a solution to improve performance, data analysis and customer reception but also to stimulate employee productivity ” explains Adam Dubiel, Product and Technology Manager at XTB.

In collaboration with other departments of the company, the XTB AI department will oversee operational deployment, including testing, prototype validation and management of AI-related projects to ensure their quality and alignment with objectives commercial. The new AI team will also follow the latest trends to share knowledge and train employees on the use of this technology in their daily tasks, while respecting internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Tomasz Gawron is an experienced developer, former computer science teacher and co-author of several studies on mobile robotics. He has led similar departments in the past, including at Wunderman Thompson Technology. He also holds a doctorate in automation, electronics and electrical engineering from the Poznan University of Technology.

“We plan to use AI to democratize access to data and personalize the user experience through a more unified interactive interface. We are moving towards a world where a personalized interactive report will be generated from data that is refreshed every time that the user will ask for it,” said Tomasz Gawron, Head of AI Department at XTB.
