Released in cinemas in 2001, the cult movie Yamakasirealized by Ariel Zeitoun, will be rebroadcast on Sunday July 17, 2022, from 9:05 p.m. on TFX. Worn by Châu Belle Dinh, Williams Belle, Malik Diouf, Yann Hnautra and Guylain N’Guba Boyeke, who form the Yamakasi collective, this feature film features seven young people from the suburbs who have created their own discipline: the art of displacement (ADD). Before being the heroes of the eponymous film, the Yamakasi are a group of friends who have known each other since their youth.
The co-founders of the art of displacement are Charles Perrière, Chau Belle, Williams Belle, Yann Hnautra, Laurent Piemontesi, Guylain Boyeke, Malik Diouf, David Belle, Sébastien Foucan and Tarek Miloud. This same art, differentiable in its vision of things, is called parkour by David Belle, and freerun by Sébastien Foucan, who adds an acrobatic part to parkour. This film participated in the popularization of this discipline. Moreover, if the vast majority of actors playing in this feature film are not stars, a famous French actress made her film debut in Yamakasidoing extras.

The actress in question is actually Camille Cottin.
