During an interview broadcast on RTL, Yann Barthès spoke about his rich professional future. But does he see himself in command of Daily in ten years ? To this question, the facilitator’s answer is straightforward: “No (…) I have no departure date but in ten years no”. The reasons ? “It’s exhausting. There is Daily but there was Le Petit Journal and Le Grand Journal… Every day in the same studio. I’ve been going to the same place in Paris every day since I was 24.”. Thus, if he is no longer at the head of Dailyswould he be tempted to leave the world of television? “Yes and living without TV, a big yes”.
Worse still, Yann Barthès would have liked his notoriety not to be so great: “If there was a way to do this job without being known, I would do it. If I had known, I might have thought a little more.
