Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno is facing a terrible ordeal: the death of his son Antoine, who died aged 24 after being hit by a stolen car on Sunday evening.

“Le Parisien” also returns to the terrible accident which took the life of the young chef on Sunday evening: around 11:20 p.m., in the 7th arrondissement of the capital, Antoine Alléno was riding a scooter with a passenger. They were stationary when they were hit by a vehicle, a black Audi RS6, which had just been stolen from the valet at the Coya restaurant. In his escape, the young 25-year-old driver lost control of the car and hit a VTC, as well as Antoine Alléno’s scooter. The latter died instantly and his passenger suffered several bruises.

After trying to flee on foot, the driver was arrested by an off-duty police commissioner who witnessed the accident. He was first taken to the hospital for tests, before being taken into custody. An investigation has been opened for manslaughter.
