Yannick Noah: hospitalized after a malaria crisis, he gives his news

Affected by malaria since his return from his vacation in Polynesia, Yannick Noah came out of silence this Saturday, March 18. The singer gave reassuring news to his fans on his Instagram account.

A holiday that ends badly. After taking full advantage of the Tahitian sun where he was able to recharge his batteries, Yannick Noah had a very bad surprise on his return to Cameroon, where he now lives. The singer indeed had to be hospitalized in emergency because of an attack of malaria. Indeed, in Instagram story, the singer posted a photo accompanied by this sentence: “Beautiful malaria crisis to celebrate the return”. Cap on his head and worried face, he appeared lying on a bed, visibly placed on a drip.

Malaria, on the other hand, is not a disease to be taken lightly. Transmitted by mosquito bites, it causes high fever, headaches, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle aches, stomachaches, and can be life-threatening. There was therefore concern about the state of health of the artist, but the latter finally gave reassuring news this Saturday, March 18.

It is going much better ! Thank you for all your messages… fortunately my head and my heart are still in Tahiti“, wrote the 62-year-old singer, who also took the opportunity to send a beautiful message to his Polynesian friends: “What beautiful precious moments spent with all of you friends!!
