Sharing is caring: Nandini starts project for more self-love

In the supposedly superficial world of social media, the non-profit organization NANDINI® has set itself the task of speaking and educating people about body positivity and self-love as well as bullying on social media together with creators at schools across Germany – as part of the “YOU ARE YOU . THAT’S YOUR SUPERPOWER “.

In the course of this, a sweater was created, 100 percent of the proceeds from About You donated to the school initiative. Influencer Farina Opoku is also part of the campaign. She is accompanied by a younger colleague from TikTok or YouTube every time she goes to school. In addition, various aid organizations are presented so that the students can report anonymously if they feel addressed.

TikTok and other social media thrive on bringing new tips and tricks from the beauty world to light every day. Sometimes it’s a new method, then another trick for the perfect eyeliner. Brand new: an ice-cold way to blend makeup. Anyone who thought it would be enough to just work with a damp make-up sponge is probably no longer up to date with the latest TikTok status. Because we go one step further: the sponge comes before the veneer is now freezer!

But why is our beauty blender ending up next to frozen fruit? There is a very simple answer to this: When it is cold, our skin contracts and the pores join in. This means that the ice-cold beauty sponge minimizes pores on our skin and thus makes the skin surface appear smoother and flawless. This allows us to apply and blend the make-up more evenly. This trick is especially made for a glowy look.

We now wear balayage in California style

The cold season has started and it is high time to bring the California summer to us. With this trend, the hair not only looks like it has just been kissed by the sun, but also really stands out between all the monotonous hair colors. Because a new technique gives the hair a loose, casual touch.

But what sets this dyeing technique apart from ordinary balayage? First of all, we dye significantly more hair than with balayage. But not only that: hairstylist: all sorts of different shades of blonde mix here, from icy blonde to sweet honey blonde. However, the hairline remains a little darker, which makes the look look cooler and more unwanted. And the California style has another advantage: Thanks to the more casual approach, there is no need to continually re-dye, because approaches that grow out are less noticeable.

Available from November 19-25: ‘ba & sh’ sells t-shirts to protect women and children

Are you shopping and doing something good at the same time? You can do that until November 25th, 2021 with the brand ‘ba & sh’. The colorfully designed T-shirt with the inscription “Every Day Is A Second Chance” was created in collaboration with the Fondation des Hôpitaux and the Women & Children Safe Institute and is intended to set an example against violence against women and children. The T-shirts, which were specially designed for women and children, cost around 50 euros.

100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the children’s T-shirts go to the Fondation des Hôpitaux, and the proceeds from the sales of the T-shirts for women go to the Women & Children Safe Institute. We have never put an item into the shopping cart so quickly, because the shirt not only looks great, it can also change a victim’s life for the better.

Liquid hair – that’s behind the hip trend

Ultra smooth and ultra silky: Liquid hair is the name of the hair trend that celebrities like Kim Kardashian and thousands of influencers are currently wearing. What is the trend? The hair is straight, incredibly shiny and moves almost like water. Hence the name.

Unfortunately, we don’t just need a good shampoo to keep our hair so smooth and supple. A keratin treatment from the hairdresser can do that, however. It makes the hair less frizzy and blow-dry much faster. You can even use the treatment on curls so that they have more shine. Most of the time, the hair should become smooth as a result of the treatment. The whole thing then lasts for about twelve weeks.

In the meantime there are also products for at home to re-style the glossy and smooth finish – at least for a few days, for example the Color Wow “Dream Coat Supernatural Spray” or the “Tsuyu Sleek Blow Dry Oil” by Shu Uemura. Such products are usually activated by heat and give the hair the ultimate shine.
