Nobody can refuse a liqueur in honor. And not here at all. Just like grandma used to do with her girls. Only instead of eggnog we really like Nutella, Duplo, Raffaello and children’s chocolate liqueur. And you can easily make them yourself when the kids aren’t looking.

Nutella liqueur

You need this:

  • 2 vanilla bean(s)
  • 1 tbsp coffee powder, instant
  • 0.7 liters of rum, brown, 40%
  • 400g Nutella
  • 250g powdered sugar
  • 400 ml whipping cream

That’s how it’s done:

  1. Split the vanilla pod and scrape out the pulp.
  2. Dissolve ground coffee in 1 tablespoon of hot water, mix with rum, vanilla pulp, Nutella and icing sugar, preferably in a blender or carefully with a hand mixer
  3. Chill overnight
  4. The next day, whip the cream until stiff and stir in
  5. Pour into bottles, seal tightly and refrigerate.

  1. Finely chop the Duplo bars in a blender or with a rolling pin.
  2. Then add sugar and 200 g milk and cook for 5 minutes.
