Yevgeni Roizman, 59, was arrested at his home early Wednesday morning in Yekaterinburg, in the Urals, the city of which he was an emblematic mayor between 2013 and 2018. Video images broadcast on Telegram showed a dozen police officers in uniforms. combat and camouflage appearing at his door in order to challenge him under article 280.3 of the penal code, “discrediting the army”… An offense punishable by penalties of up to five years in prison.
