The guests are coming soon and you want to quickly bake a cake? This delicious yogurt cake is in the baking pan in three minutes!

Homemade cake is still the best – there’s no doubt about that. But you don’t necessarily have the time to stand in the kitchen forever. Fortunately, there are a few recipes with which you can put delicious cake batter into the oven in no time at all. You actually don’t need more than three minutes for this lemony and fluffy batter. And the cake tastes heavenly. Give it a try – you’ll be surprised how little time it takes to make a good cake.

This is what you need for the 3-minute yogurt cake

2 eggs

1 cup of sunflower oil

1 cup of sugar

2 cups of flour

2 cups of natural yogurt

2 tbsp lemon juice

1-2 teaspoons of grated lemon peel

1 pack of vanilla sugar

1 pack of baking powder

And this is how you do it

When you have all the ingredients ready, simply mix them all together in a bowl (with a hand mixer or a food processor) and pour the batter into a greased and, ideally, floured springform pan. Bake the cake at 160 to 180 degrees for about an hour. Meanwhile, you can relax and do other things or just put your feet up. To be on the safe side, test after 50 minutes with a stick whether the cake is ready, because every oven is different. You can take the cake out as soon as there is no more batter stuck to the stick.

Whew, the cake is ready! And now?

Enjoy! However, you can also add icing over the cake if you like. However, only when it has cooled down properly. It’s very easy: mix a pack of powdered sugar (250 grams) little by little with water or lemon juice (tablespoon at a time!) Until you get a smooth cream.
