“You are not cold in your eyes”: Didier Deschamps shocks with an answer during his press conference (video)

During his press conference, Didier Deschamps was asked about several controversies. And the least we can say is that the coach of the Blues gives quite surprising answers.

He announced the list of players selected for the last gathering of the Blues before the World Cup. Didier Deschamps gave a press conference this Thursday, September 15 to answer questions from journalists. If the sporting part has been commented on, the coach of the French football team has also been questioned about several raging controversies. Indeed, the 98 World Champion received many questions about the revelations of the magazine SoFoot, which published an investigation into numerous dysfunctions within the French Football Federation but also the accusations of sexual harassment brought against Noël Le Graët, its president.

And Didier Deschamps had a somewhat surprising response. At the question : “After the revelations of So Foot magazine, do you support President Noël Le Graët? Do you think he can remain at the head of the Federation?”. The coach of the France team does not go hand in hand: “Ah absolutely. You’re not shy you… I don’t think we have the same reading… I’m not going to get into that, it’s not my field”, he begins by declaring before continuing: “You know my relationship with the President… If I refer to the sporting part only, there is so much false information which is lies and which, with time and repetition, becomes nonsense… Today, knowing, who, how, why… What I can tell you is that the President is fine.

Didier Deschamps: “It’s not the most peaceful climate I’ve known”

If according to him his answer is satisfactory, the journalists have not finished with this story and are trying to revive him. So Didier Deschamps gives a layer: “It’s not the most peaceful climate I’ve known… But it’s instantaneous, that’s a lot of buzzz… Assert truths that are not”. The coach of the France team was also questioned about the controversy which touches the player Paul Pogba, full member of the Blues: “No I’m not worried, I’m quiet by nature in all circumstances. I talk to him but don’t ask me to intervene in stories that can be created and recreated. As you know, in his private domain with justice doing its job, that’s it today. Despite everything, he is solid, he has character and he is focused on the field, which will lead him to come back and give himself the means to be restored”.

Didier Deschamps: “Coming to come, even he doesn’t want that”

Does Didier Deschamps count on the presence of the player? “Coming to come, even he doesn’t want that. Even if he wanted to I would say no. It’s not conceivable. The players who will be there will all be ready to play. There may be disparities athletically . it has already happened. This question is also for the competition. Paul will not come because he is part of the executives. It does not make sense. Those who will be selected will be able to meet these requirements.” .
