Over the weeks, Instagram social network has made real changes to its ecosystem. New functionalities are deployed regularly on the mobile application, and a new tool has just made its debut.
Meta has made many changes to Instagram and does not intend to stop there. We can for example note the increase in the duration of the Reels or the possibility of customizing the display of our photos. Even more surprising, the social network offered a significantly different logo recently. These are not huge revolutions, but rather developments to modernize the mobile application.
Highlight your best memories
Now it is possible to pin up to three photos or Reels on our Instagram profiles. To perform this operation, you must go to the targeted post, tap on the icon of the three small dots, then simply choose “Pin to your profile”. The post will then move up your feed to appear there first. A logo representing a pin will be attached to it.
The feature has been in the works for the past year and now appears to be available globally. Just note that it is only valid for the mobile application. The web version of Instagram is currently not affected.
