You can now play Dying Light in 60fps or 4K on PS5

As announced for some time now, the new-gen upgrade patch has been released on PS5 (and PS4 Pro) for Dying Light. The Xbox Series will benefit from it very soon.

It was necessary until now to be satisfied with the version PS4 and Xbox One for play on PS5 or Xbox Series. Now, Techland’s survival and parkour game is available a new-gen patch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Thus, all players who have Dying Light (first of the name) on PS4 or Xbox One can download this upgrade which adds new features dedicated to recent consoles. Small flat however, if the PS5 patch arrived last night, we will have to wait a few days (date not yet given) on Xbox Series.

You will find the following changes there:

  • Performance mode now offers 60 FPS in Full HD resolution
  • Balanced mode targets 60 FPS in QHD resolution
  • High-res mode delivers 30 FPS in 4K


PS4 Pro


  • Threshold at 30 FPS improved!


Xbox Series X


  • Performance mode now offers 60 FPS in Full HD resolution
  • Balanced mode targets 60 FPS in QHD resolution
  • High-Resolution mode offers 30 FPS in 4K


Xbox Series S + Xbox One


  • Performance mode offers 30 FPS in Full HD resolution
  • The high-resolution mode aims for 30 FPS in Quad HD resolution
