The game flight simulator hosts the world’s largest plane, the Antonov An-225 Mriya, built in Ukraine.
This is a desire on the part of flight simulator to continue to work for the digital preservation of aviation heritage.

Available on PC as on the new Xbox Series, the impressive flight simulator regularly welcomes new content. From now on, the store of flight simulator allows players to get their hands on the An-225 Mriya (for “dream” in French). The plane is now available on the PC version of the game and will land on Xbox at the end of March.
The Antonov An-225 Mriya is a six-engine jumbo jet, which holds the record for the longest aircraft in the world (but not the widest). Only one Mriya saw the light of day, but it was rendered inoperable at the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 27, 2022. One project is to make the Mriya fly again by combining the remaining parts of the ‘An-225 destroyed to those of the second aircraft ever completed.

Flight Simulator in its 2020 version honors the previous installments in the series. Asobo Studios does more than fulfill its contract with an abundant title of rare accuracy. For the form, we will nitpick a bit on the promise of photorealism (imperfect), on certain shortcomings (helicopters, etc.) or on a flight school that is still incomplete. This should not overshadow the level of excellence achieved by the studio, unheard of in the world of flight simulation. Hats off.
