You can watch the first 8 minutes of Season 4 of Stranger Things

Season 4 of Netflix’s cult series doesn’t hit screens until May 27. But you can already spoil the first minutes of the first episode, if you want.

Generally, the studios do their best to avoid revealing anything before the release of their new films. Andrew Garfield had denied his return in Spider-Man: No Way Home until the last moment in order to keep the surprise intact for fans; and Marvel had even cast doubt on a possible erasure of the actor from a trailer for the film.

For the release of season 4 of Stranger Things, Netflix has chosen the opposite strategy. While the release of the highly anticipated new season is not scheduled before May 27, the streaming platform posted a video on YouTube on May 20 revealing the first 8 minutes of the first episode.

You can find the video below, and spoiler the first 8 minutes.

Season 4 of Stranger Things, the penultimate, will be very different from the previous ones. It is indeed divided into two parts: the first, composed of 7 episodes, is released on May 27. But we will have to wait for the second part: the last two episodes will be released on July 1st.

This season will also be the longest. An article from the New York Times, which interviewed the two creators of the hit show, says Season 4 is 5 HOURS longer than Season 3. The first three episodes are each over 75 minutes long. The Verge also quotes a Netflix publication, which specifies that the 7th episode will be 1:38, the 8th 1:25, and the last more than 2:30. What reserve us some surprises, and which shows that in the end, the first 8 minutes do not represent much compared to the whole season.

But if you like to do you divulge the events of a series, you can also turn to the Stranger Things version of the Monopoly game. The famous board game apparently included a huge spoiler for the new season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
