Google’s online office service will integrate a little more artificial intelligence to help you organize your documents.

Google just announced a new feature that should help a lot of users not miss any important information shared on Google Docs.

Automatic summaries of documents and conversations, generated by AI

It was during Google I/O 2022, the search engine conference dedicated to developers, that the company has just announced some new features for Google Workspace, its online collaborative work tool.

The first and not least is the development of automatic summaries in Google Docs documents. An artificial intelligence will automatically take care of reading and understanding a document, even a complex one, to offer a summary of the important information contained therein on the left of the window.

This feature will be deployed in the coming months in Google Docs but also in Google Meet and Google Chat, in order to quickly summarize a long conversation.

Google Meet will also receive a small update with improved video quality, again using artificial intelligence. Callers’ faces will be automatically recognized and enhanced. It will also be possible to add “virtual lights” to bring some clarity to an underexposed frame.
