“You left too soon”: Stéphane Bern announces the death of his brother, Armand

Tuesday August 9, 2022, Stéphane Bern announced on Instagram the death of his older brother, Armand. With a heavy heart, the host revealed that the latter had died on Saturday August 6, 2022, a month before his 60th birthday.

The host is in mourning … Six months after losing his father, Stéphane Bern announced Tuesday August 9, 2022, on Instagram, the death of his older brother. Shocked, he wrote:Armand, my dear brother. We had sworn that we would remain united for life and death separated us on August 6th. You left too soon, a month before your 60th birthday, after having bravely fought against melanoma which ended up winning. Modest and modest, humble and silent, but terribly sensitive, you did not like outpourings and let me take the light to better stay in the shadows, but in truth, you were the pillar of our family, the rock, the eldest and the good genius to whom we turned.“During this love-filled message, the host made a point of saying”what an amazing husband, father, son and brother” it was.

Moved, Stéphane Bern said: “I was proud to have an older brother 14 months older who had passed the baccalaureate at 16 and Polytechnique at 19 (X81). Brilliant engineer, attentive and human collaborator, you were appreciated in the companies for which you worked, including Lear or Safran. Your intelligence impressed me, your capacity for work, your immense culture, your kindness, your humor and your great generosity.“Assuring that he had lost a part of himself, the host lamented: “You were the last witness of our happy childhood, the last with whom I could share our memories. I feel lost without you, I feel an absolute, vertiginous feeling of emptiness. In conclusion, he added:You leave a huge void in the hearts of those who love you, your loving and devoted wife Jocelyne, your three wonderful children, your two grandsons and a third unborn grandchild. I swear to you to be faithful to your memory, to be another father for them. The only death is oblivion. I will honor and love you until my own death.

Stéphane Bern lost his father in February 2022

He joined our dear mother, thirty years after her, having devoted an unshakable and inconsolable love to her.“Upset, Stéphane Bern added:”I was lucky to have parents who made me who I amgiving me so much love, but also instilling in me rigor, discipline, self-sacrifice and a sense of duty.
