Her husband noticed that his skin was yellowwhich is why he teased her by comparing her to “a minion“. He had no doubt that his wife, a 43-year-old nurse from Colchester, Essex, was going to be diagnosed with a serious illness. The yellow skin by Becki Buggs was actually caused by cancer. Her husband joked that she had yellow skin and thatshe looked like a minion when she got out of the shower. They later found out that Becki Buggs had pancreatic cancerreports The Mirror in his article of November 4, 2022.

The 40-year-old nurse has had to be operated because of his pancreatic cancer. Doctors removed his organ. Ironically, Becki Buggs turns out to be the nurse who is in charge of prepare patients with this same cancer and who will undergo removal of the pancreas. The mother of two is the nurse who comes to patients to reassure them and tell them everything is going to be alright. But this time, it was up to her to undergo the operation. The 43-year-old nurse even said she was “completely devastated” upon hearing the news.

A disease that kills very quickly

According to The Mirrorpancreatic cancer is the cancer that kill the fastest. Half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months following the diagnosis. In addition, more than half of people with this cancer are diagnosed in the emergency room. This means that for most of these people it is ttoo late to receive treatment. Becki Buggs, meanwhile, is more concerned about “huge staff shortages” in the NHS.
