Since August 18, the CAF has begun to pay retroactive increases, for the months of July and August, of family allowances, AAH or APL. However, there are cases, in particular concerning the RSA and the activity bonus, where it will still be necessary to wait.
The purchasing power law grants a 4% increase in family allowances, active solidarity income (RSA) or allowance for disabled adults (AAH), and 3.5% in personal housing assistance (APL). And this in a retroactive way, since July 1st. However, its publicationon August 17 in the Official Journal, was too late so that these revaluations are taken into account in the benefits paid at the beginning of August. Hence the need for a 2nd installmentwhich was initiated by the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) since August 18. Check, if you are concerned: you have probably already touched this money.

However, there are a few more complex cases. On its website, CAF lists them and specifies the retroactive payment schedule for resets.
If you receive the RSA or the activity bonus, the revaluation will only be effective from the taking into account of your resources for the month of July in your quarterly declaration, explains the Caf. That is to say the September 5 if your quarterly declaration concerns the months of May, June and July; the October 5 if it concerns June, July and August; the November 5 if it concerns April, May and June.

Are you concerned by APL? If the aid is paid directly to your landlord – which is necessarily the case if your accommodation is managed by an HLM organization or a Crous -, the latter will only receive, retroactively, the amount of the revaluation for the months of July and August. that during the payment of the rights of September, country next September 26. No worries, therefore, if the rest of your rent payment does not move before this date.
Finally, the small amounts have not yet been paid, and will only be paid in addition to the payment of the September 5.
