With a season 4 in two parts and full of twists, the You series is back in force on Netflix. Fans have followed with passion the new adventures of the psychopath Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley).
In this new round of episodes, he’s escaped his past by living another life in London as Jonathan Moore. Having become a professor of literature, the serial stalker and serial killer made a name for himself in London high society. But everything changes after a series of murders that only targets the wealthy.
Joe sets out to investigate this serial killer who overshadows him and who tracks him down, but that was without counting a huge twist that reshuffled all the cards in the series and which foreshadowed a exciting sequel for Joe.

And this sequel will see the light of day since Netflix has just announced that a season 5 of You is in production. And it was Joe himself – or rather via several text messages – that the good news was shared on social networks.
Even better, the post from Netflix announces season 5 of You for 2024! Fans will therefore not have to wait very long before discovering these new episodes. But the platform also sends another message: this fifth season of the series worn by Penn Badgley will also be the last!
What will Joe have in store for us for these final episodes? His interpreter already knows it, as he told us in an interview:
“The creators told me a few years ago – well before season 4 – how the series would end. […] If there is a season 5, the action would pick up where we left off. Joe has power. And that’s a terrifying thought. It opens the field to a lot of possibilities but it will also mean that his fall will be harder. If there is season 5, it will be interesting!”
