Netflix has already confirmed that the final episodes are expected in 2024. An exact start date for “You” season 5 has not yet been set. The fourth season of “You” was confirmed in October 2021, filming began in March 2022 before the first part was released in February 2023. Season 4 of “You” ended with Joe Goldberg returning to New York along with his newest obsession, Kate. Joe uses his girlfriend’s press expertise to unearth “the truth” – at least the part he would have liked to have exposed.

So his ex-wife, Love Quinn, is now publicly portrayed as a killer, while he benefits from this story under his real name. All while his former student is innocent of his murders in jail in London.

In season 5 of “You” we see Penn Badgley again as serial killer Joe Goldberg. Charlotte Ritchie also plays a role as his lover Kate Galvin.

The teaser trailer stars Tati Gabrielle as Marienne Bellamy, John Stamos as Dr. Nicky, Nathalie Paul as Karen Minty, Luca Padovan as Paco, Joe’s Son, Jenna Ortega (“Wednesday”) as Ellie Alves, Shalita Grant and Travis Van Winkle as Sherry and Cary Conrad, and Tilly Keeper as Phoebe Borehall-Blaxworth and Amy-Leigh Hickman shown as Nadia. All of these characters have survived encounters with Joe over the past four seasons. Is one of them responsible for Joe’s downfall?
