A friend of Delphine Jubillar, the nurse who disappeared on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020 in Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn), confided in her meetings with the husband, Cédric.
On February 4, 2021, the friend of the 33-year-old woman went to the 34-year-old painter-plasterer who had invited her because “he had known that with Delphine’s group of friends we wanted to be part of civil”, she confided to the Dépêche.fr.
The woman described a suspicious man who “immediately demanded that I hand over my cell phone to him to avoid hypothetical recordings”.
While Cédric was leading her to the basement and they were going down the spiral staircase, the 30-year-old then told him “you shouldn’t disappear too”. Words that surprised Delphine’s friend, who was also not very surprised because she knows “the escapades” of the husband, added the local media.

The woman also shared another scene, which took place a few months later at the lake of Cagnac-les-Mines. As a fisherman caught a fish and tried to control it with his hands, Cédric whispered in the woman’s ear “it’s a strangulation technique”.
Asked by the regional daily, Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers recalled that these facts do not make their client “a potential killer”. Those around the accused also assured that it was his way of defending himself and of playing with this label of assassin that was stuck on him, “a little out of derision, a little out of weariness”.
This Tuesday, the lawyers of Cédric Jubillar were heard by the investigating chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal for a new request for the release of their client, accused of the murder of his wife Delphine. The fourth in nine months.
At the end of the hearing, the general prosecutor’s office requested his continued detention and a decision will be rendered on March 22.
The 34-year-old painter-plasterer, imprisoned since June 18, 2021, denies any involvement in the disappearance of his wife whose body has not been found.
