Again and again a Ukrainian gravedigger appeared very drunk at his workplace in Vienna-Favoriten. It was enough for his boss – then his employee threatened to kill him.
A gravedigger at the Matzleinsdorf Evangelical Cemetery had repeatedly consumed large amounts of alcohol before he started work. It was that time again on Wednesday – at 9 a.m. the 53-year-old appeared “full of fuel”, with an incredible 3 per thousand alcohol in the blood. The peace at the cemetery was over: the Ukrainians abused his colleagues and behaved aggressively.Desert death threats at the cemeteryThe boss (51) had seen more than enough of it and wanted to confront his employees. But it shouldn’t come to that. “You’ll soon be lying down with the dead, too,” the gravedigger shouted at his superior. Whereupon the police officers from the Van-der-Nüll-Gasse inspection had to intervene. After resisting arrest from them as well, he was arrested.
