Friday February 19, the Mcfly & Carlito youtubers were surprised to be challenged by Emmanuel Macron. While the two comedians count 6.28 million subscribers on their channel, the President of the Republic asked them to make a video in recalling barrier gestures and demonstrate their importance in the fight against the spread of Covid-19. If Mcfly and Carlito manage to collect 10 million views on their next video, the Head of State has pledged to do an anecdote competition with them on Youtube which will be filmed at the Elysée.
Despite the political dimension of the request, the two YouTubers accepted Emmanuel Macron's challenge. On this Sunday February 21, they have already published a video on their page Youtube titled "I remember", with the caption "Objective of 10 million views ".
The youtuber duo unveil a humorous video in which they sing, recalling the importance of barrier gestures with original lyrics based on the president's instructions. McFly and Carlito admit that they do not always respect these barrier gestures by pointing out their mistakes but claim to want to do better. At 4:45 p.m. this Sunday, the video was already recording more than 2.4 million views on the platform.
