Your cat is a work of art, you are sure of that. But what masterpiece is it most like? There is a way to find out, thanks to an update of the Google “Arts & Culture” application. With its functionality Pet Portraits, you will find THE famous cat in the history of art who looks like your four-legged friend.
Nothing could be simpler: just download the “Arts and Culture” application on your phone. Then take a photo of your pet or choose one from your gallery. Then, let the algorithm do that which crosses the photo of your cat (or your dog, bird, hamster …) with the gallery which includes tens of thousands of works of art. Several artistic lookalikes are presented, and you just have to click on them to learn about the history of the work that is displayed. The application is available on IOS and Android.

A museum in your smartphone
Once the application has been downloaded, it’s up to you to research artistic similarities between the animals you meet and the thousands of pictorial representations scattered in museums around the world.
