Alternatively, you can simply put a little vinegar in the washing powder compartment of the washing machine. This has the same effect and is the time-saving alternative. The same method works in a similar way with salt. To keep the jeans from "bleeding out" there is a drugstore special fixing salts. You put this in the compartment of the washing machine, in which you also put the normal washing powder. Then just wash as usual. The salt stores the color in the fabric and prevents it from staining.

And another easy tip for the very lazy: On the next shopping tour in the supermarket, just a few Color catcher cloths bring for the washing machine. You can simply throw this into the full machine and suck up the bleeding paint directly. This does not prevent the blue jeans from losing their color, but the other items of clothing are spared.
