YouTube is evolving its Android application by adding the Google Lens function to its search bar. This update allows users to perform visual searches directly from the app, improving the way they find and consume video content based on even more precise queries.

Looking for specific content

Positioned between the search bar and the voice search microphone, the Google Lens icon launches the interface, known for its ability to identify objects and perform optical character recognition (OCR) through the device’s main camera .

With this integration, users can take a photo of an object, for example an iPhone 13, and immediately receive suggestions for relevant YouTube videos, such as our video test of the smartphone on the YouTube channel. Digital.
