A 27-year-old man suspected of having killed his partner in the Yvelines was indicted this Thursday evening for intentional homicide by spouse and placed in pre-trial detention.
The body of the young woman, aged 31, was discovered Tuesday at her home in Coignières. Traces of strangulation and wounds to the head and mouth were found on the victim.
Present in the apartment at the time of the discovery of the body by the police, the spouse had been arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday.
Arrested for domestic violence
This Thursday, he was referred and indicted for intentional homicide by spouse and violence by spouse. A judge of freedoms and detention placed him in pre-trial detention, as requested by the prosecution.
A few days before the facts, on April 20, the man had been arrested for acts of domestic violence, before being released. The young woman had not filed a complaint.
