Yvonne Catterfeld dares to take a new step – and is celebrated on the net by fans, friends and colleagues.
In the last season of "The Voice of Germany" she was part of the jury and assessed the singing performance of young talents. Now Yvonne Catterfeld, 41, is being scrutinized on Instagram herself – and there is a special reason for that.
Yvonne Catterfeld fulfills a long-cherished dream: The Erfurt native sings in English. Three years after the release of her last studio album "Guten Morgen Freiheit", the 41-year-old is releasing her new single "Patience".

"Wow! The cat is out of the bag. After a long time I finally recorded a song in English and present it to you here today," she wrote on Instagram. But the way to get there was not easy.
"Even if I took every opportunity to be able to perform in English, I had to be patient for a long time to finally release an English-language single." And further: "I had to have a lot of patience to convince people to go down a new path." But English has always been her preferred language, "an inner necessity, a need."

Now the single "Patience" is out and the fans are not only impressed by the song, but also by the new path that Yvonne is taking. The 41-year-old thanks her fans for so much encouragement on Instagram. "Crazy, I am overwhelmed by so many personal messages, also from friends, colleagues and dear people I know, fans who have been with me for 20 years as well as those who are now rediscovering me. Thank you for your words, the Encouragement, your enthusiasm and everything you send me in input! "
