After two years of single life, Yvonne Catterfeld is back on cloud nine. The singer revealed this in an interview.
On Christmas Day 2021, Yvonne Catterfeld, 43, and fellow actor Oliver Wnuk, 47, surprisingly announced their separation. In an Instagram post by the singer, it said, among other things: “We spend Christmas together – but have not been lovers since this spring.” Even now, a good two years later, she has been carrying around a little secret for a long time: Yvonne is in love again.

“I’ve been in a relationship for a long time,” Catterfeld reveals to “Bild” on the sidelines of a Berlinale event. Why she waited so long to make her new love public has a profane reason: she was simply not asked.
She didn’t want to keep it a secret, but she did about the identity of her new partner. In contrast to her ex Wnuk, Yvonne Catterfeld’s new boyfriend is not in the public eye. Therefore, she prefers to keep the name and other private details to herself.
Separation after 14 years and a son together
Yvonne Catterfeld and Oliver Wnuk went through life together for 14 years and were in a relationship from 2007 to 2021. In April 2014, son Charlie Wnuk, 8, crowned their love. “On Saturday the Easter bunny finally brought our chick. Grateful and full of love we are now cuddling back to family happiness and happily waving around,” wrote the interpreter of “For You” on Facebook at the time.
Since then, her son has clearly come first. Career comes after that. Due to the high demands on her role as a mother, she cancels many projects. “Priority one is clearly my son. I used to take him everywhere when he wasn’t at school. That’s no longer possible. But I really like being a mom and I like being at home,” said Yvonne in an interview with the news agency “spot on news” in December 2021.
