While the ZLAN has just ended, it’s the Z Event that we have news. This charity event, organized once a year since 2017 by ZeratoR, brings together many French streamers for an entire weekend. The goal is to offer various happenings, events and others that can generate valuable donations. Each year, a humanitarian association is chosen, to which all donations are paid.
Action against Hunger
Last year, the collective of 52 French-speaking streamers managed to make history by collecting exactly €10,067,111 in donations for Action against Hunger. Recently, ZeratoR traveled to Central African Republic to see the extent of the association’s humanitarian actions thanks to donations from Z Event 2021. The cameras of Raw followed him, to then give us this moving report.
If you, like many Twitch users, made a donation during the Z Event, you can see the usefulness of these. As ZeratoR points out, more than 1.2 million euros have been invested by the association in the Central African Republic in various projects and infrastructures such as hospitals, agricultural training or paediatrics.
The French streamer therefore goes to various hospitals in which Action Against Hunger works, in particular in the Pediatric Center of Bangui, the capital of the country. There, we learn that the donations financed the activities of the center from April until December of this year. Without the Z Event, the hospital would have stopped operating during this period.until we receive sufficient new donations to reopen.

Thanks to the many donations from the Z Event 2021, the association was able to act sustainably in the Central African Republic. As ZeratoR said so well to the Action Against Hunger teams: “The money we raise is important but if you weren’t there it would be useless”.
