Zaporizhia power plant will come under Russian control after annexation-RIA


October 5 (Reuters) – Ukraine’s Zaporizhia nuclear power plant will come under the control of Russian government agencies following Moscow’s formal annexation of the region of the same name, the Russian foreign minister said on Wednesday, quoted by the agency. RIA press release.

According to the Tass agency, the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, must go to Moscow in the coming days to discuss the situation at the plant.

Russia has proceeded to the annexation of the region of Zaporijjia and three other Ukrainian regions after the holding of referendums on their attachment to Russia denounced by kyiv and Western governments as sham consultations.
