Offspring for Zara and Mike Tindall: The Queen's granddaughter is expecting her third child, as her husband revealed in his podcast.

Royal offspring! Zara Tindall (39), the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II (94) and daughter of Princess Anne (70), is pregnant again. Her husband Mike Tindall (41) revealed this on his podcast "The Good, The Bad & The Rugby". It is the third child of the two. The couple already has two daughters, Mia Grace (6) and Lena Elizabeth (2).

"It's been a good week for me, we had a small scan last week – a third Tindall is on the way," said the delighted former rugby international. After two girls, he now wants a boy. "I'll love it, boy or girl – but please be a boy." About the baby's potential name, he jokes: "We're not sure, either Covi or Covina."

Mike Tindall continues: "Z is doing very well and she's really looking forward to it. Because of things that have happened in the past, she's always very careful." Between the birth of her two daughters in 2014 and 2018, Zara Tindall suffered two miscarriages.

The Queen is "delighted"

With the announcement via podcast, Zara and Mike Tindall break with tradition. Buckingham Palace usually announces pregnancies to the Royal Family. The Queen is informed, however, as the "Daily Mail" knows from a palace spokesman: "Your Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh know about it and are delighted." Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip (99) already have eight great-grandchildren, in addition to the Tindalls, Prince Andrews (60) daughter Princess Eugenie (30) is expecting children for the first time.
