Zayn Malik has his own theories about why he didn't get a Grammy nomination.
Zayn Malik (28, "Pillowtalk") is furious: The pop star attacks the Grammy decision-makers on Twitter with a harsh tweet at. "Fucks the Grammys and anyone involved," Malik wrote. "If you don't shake hands and send gifts, they won't consider nominating you," said the pop star. "Next year I'll send you a basket of sweets," he concludes.
At this year's event, which takes place on March 14, he is not among the nominees. However, he seems to have overlooked the deadline for the nominations in his allegations. Only music released between September 1, 2019 and August 31, 2020 will be taken into account. His album was only released in mid-January 2021. It's called: "Nobody Is Listening".
His former One Direction colleague Harry Styles (27, "Watermelon Sugar") got it better: He has been nominated for three Grammys this year: "Best Music Video", "Best Pop Singing Album" and "Best Pop Solo Performance". He will also be on the Grammy Awards stage on March 14th alongside Taylor Swift (31, "You Need To Calm Down"), Cardi B (28, "WAP") and Billie Eilish (19, "Bad Guy ").
