The opportunity for the singer to promote her new album Aile P, but also to confide in her daughter Lola, the fruit of her love affair with Fabien Cahen. HASAged 20, the young woman no longer lives with her parents. While Zazie was talking about her passion for shoes on the show, Nathalie Levy asked her: “She steals them from you, your daughter Lola?” “Lola, she’s got a lot of shoes. But I think I made the most thrifty child on Earth, it’s incredible”, said the singer.
The artist then recounted the daily life of his daughter, who now lives with a roommate: “She’s roommates with a whole bunch of people. They’re resourceful. I’m amazed by this generation. I was exposed all the time. She, she manages, she lives with 350 euros per month. Of course, I pay the rent, etc. but I think they are amazing, they have plans, D systems. As she is circus, they are students who come from a lot of different backgrounds and who are doing perfectly. I greatly admire”, she revealed. And to conclude: “So she has three pairs of shoes.”
“I could not conceive of having a child part-time”
Zazie gave birth to her daughter in 2002. And the artist has always privileged her life as a mother to music, as she recently confided in the columns of Liberation. “I admit I ended up on the kneecaps because at 8 p.m., you make the last bottle, you sing a lullaby and all of a sudden someone comes knocking on the door to tell you that you have to go. You pass from the sweetness of a bedtime to a ‘Make some noise!’ in a crowded Zenith”, she said. And to add: “It’s an exhausting experience, but I couldn’t imagine having a child part-time or having it raised by nannies.”
