ZDF: cabaret show "Man, Sieber!" ends after over five years

The TV audience has to get away from "Man, Sieber!" saying goodbye. At the end of this year, the ZDF discontinued the political late-night cabaret show.

The cabaret show "Mann, Sieber!" Will start on September 15, 2020. in a new season – it will be the last, as the ZDF announced. The program with the eponymous satirists Tobias Mann (43) and Christoph Sieber (50) will be discontinued after more than five years and 41 episodes.

Three issues are still pending

"Tobias Mann and Christoph Sieber enriched the genre with their late-night satire on ZDF and commented on current political and social issues in a very clever and pointedly satirical manner for five years," says ZDF entertainment chief Dr. Oliver Heidemann.

There will still be a total of three editions of the monthly cabaret show. In it, Mann and Sieber are supposed to deal, among other things, with the political answers to the Corona crisis or the racism debate. The last broadcast of "Mann, Sieber!" shows the ZDF on December 1, 2020.
