Not only a number of major events are currently being canceled or postponed in Germany and Europe. It also hits more and more events that should be shown on TV. After the Golden Camera was last moved to November, for example, there is now another classic on ZDF: The "TV Garden" will completely cancel its three planned show specials on Fuerteventura, as the "Bild" reports. This means that presenter Andrea Kiewel (54) is not in front of the camera on the Spanish island from March 24 to 26.

A ZDF spokesman explains the cancellation to "Bild" as follows: "The three recordings of the ZDF show 'TV garden on tour' planned for March 24-26, 2020 on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura will be carried out with a view to the current restrictions the corona virus and the resulting logistical difficulties in realizing such a foreign production were canceled. "
Apparently, ZDF should try to find alternative options to the show on Fuerteventura. According to the ZDF spokesman, "in individual cases" will be checked whether further broadcasts are threatened.
