It all started when a Reddit member posted a photo of a German advertisement for the game, which heavily emphasizes the online features present in the title. Without giving more details.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a paradox. While it is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games of 2023 (if not of the decade), the latter is still very opaque in the eyes of the general public, due to the considerable efforts made by Nintendo to maintain the mystery around his next title. Which necessarily leads to the craziest rumors at the slightest supposed clue.
Yesterday, a Reddit user posted a picture of a German ad for the game, which clearly mentions Nintendo Switch Online. It did not take more for passions to be unleashed in comments and, subsequently, on social networks. For many, in fact, this means neither more nor less than the next installment of the cult saga will include a multiplayer mode.

As much to say it from the start, this theory seems to us very improbable. Indeed, Tears of the Kingdom is in direct line with its predecessor, Breath of the Wild, which left no room for multiplayer.
