Until then rather discreet, the sequel long awaited masterful Breath of the Wild finally reveals itself properly with a nice sequence of gameplay.

Nintendo had indeed promised us today ten minutes in the company of Link on Tears of the Kingdomand the firm clearly did not disappoint us.

A new kingdom opens up to us

After much too short teasers and trailers, fans waiting hard for May 12 have finally seen their patience rewarded with a sequence of gameplay in good and due form.

In this one, we can see more concretely the work done on the continuation of the illustrious Breath of the Wild. The title that had brought a breath of fresh air to open-world RPGs looks set to have a worthy successor. Tears of the Kingdom indeed seems to take up the torch with a vast interactive universe to explore, but with a greater emphasis on verticality and mobility, especially with both land and air vehicles that we can make ourselves!

The fights and puzzle phases sprinkled with new powers and new abilities (such as combining various elements for unique effects) are obviously not left out. Everything gains in dynamism, with an artistic direction that is still just as beautiful.

The little extra treat for the fans

In addition to a sequence of gameplay worthy of the name, Nintendo took advantage of this privileged platform around its new flagship exclusive to present the Switch OLED in the colors of the game. This had been the subject of a few leaks in the past, and the so here it is confirmed.

We had also already had the announcement of a collector’s edition of the game itself, at the same time as a new trailer. This exclusive model of the Switch OLED will be available from April 28 for interested parties who wish to take advantage of Tears of the Kingdom in the best possible conditions.

The wait will in any case not be very long for fans of Link and Zelda, the game coming out on May 12, exclusively on Nintendo Switch, of course.
