The announcement of Zenless Zone Zero hyped studio fans miHoYo. Although the developers are involved in the constant development of their titles and still relish the global success that has brought them Genshin Impact, they are not resting on their laurels. After a short and rather mysterious teasing period, the Chinese company’s new video game has been officially presented with a first trailer. Images that reveal much more than it seems and that have been accompanied by many details about what awaits us.
Zenless Zone Zero: A Genshin Impact flavored video game
First of all, let’s look at what this Zenless Zone Zero offers us in terms of playability. The new HoYoverse title has opted to use the style of gameplay that has worked best for it to date. We can consider his new game as the great heir of Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact. There will be a lot of real-time action and a wide variety of characters that we will surely obtain thanks to a system similar to that of gashapons. In this sense, the game will offer us an experience very similar to what we already know.
There will also be similarities in terms of how the title works. We can expect a good tale to be told to us as we explore the world of New Eridu. It does not aim to be as expansive an environment as in other titles, but it is a much busier city that serves as a pretext to introduce the great novelties that will make the title unique. Zenless Zone Zero will be inspired by the Persona saga by making us live an adventure shared between two parallel realities. We will be living in a post-apocalyptic city, rather calm and peaceful, which resembles what one could call a last refuge. However, we will have to fight against beings that threaten to destroy everything they find.
From what little has been revealed about the game so far, there will be an alternate world that works through ever-changing dungeons and labyrinthine paths. To access it, you will have to go to areas called “Hollows” which are dangerous places appearing out of nowhere in which you will find mutants with the name Ethereal. All this will be done in an action-oriented combat style in which we will have a team with different characters who will fight in real time. All in all, it looks like miHoYo took note of the temporary events and community-favorite game modes from their other titles to create an all-new video game around them.
All characters in Zenless Zone Zero
One of the details of the trailer that has not gone unnoticed is the number of characters, weapons and abilities that will be in the game. The final details have not yet been revealed, but morea dozen unique heroes appeared in this first extract of sequences. The variety of weapons is also striking. There are swords, hammers, spears, guns, buzzsaws, daggers, and even a rocket launcher. With so many probable play styles, players will be able to expand the possibilities beyond what miHoYo already offers us with its previously released titles.
Characters form duos and they will have the “chance” to be accompanied by a small creature who might act the same way Paimon does in Genshin Impact. We will let you judge for yourself if this is an element that interests you or if the latter risks becoming heavy afterwards.

Zenless Zone Zero release date, platforms and closed beta
Until now, no release date for Zenless Zone Zero has been revealed. However, it’s highly likely that the game won’t take long to arrive although as we see with Honkai Star Rail, there may still be a few months before a likely release. This does not prevent the studio from preparing the ground sinceit is already preparing the arrival of a closed beta whose registration is accessible to all players. This way, some of you will have the chance to test the game in the coming weeks.
There is also good news regarding the platforms on which the game will be available. The beta will be exclusive to PC and iOS users. However, miHoYo announced that Zenless Zone Zero will be available on more platforms in the future. It will certainly be released on Android and it will also be necessary to bet on the arrival of the PlayStation game. On the other hand, with regard to the Xbox consoles and the Switch, it will be less certain since we see that Genshin Impact is having trouble arriving on Nintendo’s hybrid console and that it is not available on that of Microsoft.

Will there be a French version of Zenless Zone Zero?
Many gamers like to play a game understanding the meaning of the phrases, but also having the choice of voice acting. For the moment, it is impossible to say if a VF will arrive in this new title, but in any case, it’s a safe bet that we will still find French subtitles as is the case for Genshin Impact or Honkai Impact 3rd.
