Since the announcement of ZEvent 2022, the web has (quickly) caught fire. The main reason being the absence of many streamers at the event. If Kameto and Gotaga have already explained the why and how — agenda incompatibility, lack of feeling or even desire, all absentees have their reasons, which are all personal to each one. And as Kamel says so well “Just because your favorite streamer isn’t at ZEvent doesn’t mean you have to trash the event.”
What about Inoxtag?
If Internet users were a little excited when the list of guests participating in the event was revealed, many streamers – including illustrious absentees – tried to calm things down, explaining that there was no deliberate desire to remove this or that person from the vent. ZeratoR also spoke: “For streamers who can’t come to ZEVENT, don’t bump into them, we sent out most invites on May 4th to be exact. When it’s a scheduling issue it’s bad luck but we can’t shifting everything and we thought that giving 5 months notice would be enough. I’m obviously disappointed not to see some very important streamers on the platform, know that they’ve all been invited but no one is forced to come. Everyone does as they can/wants but I am the first saddened, ZEVENT is for me a way to bring together a large part of our community once a year for 3 days to try to come together for something bigger than us, which is beyond us. […]”
If these various statements have calmed the web (at least we hope so), a highly anticipated streamer has still not communicated on the subject. Many indeed deplore the absence of Inoxtag, which has only made the event once (last year).
For the moment, the latter does not seem in a hurry to give his reasons and he has no obligation to do so. Like Kameto or even Gotaga, he has his reasons, which he will give if he wishes.
Do not stay focused on the kitty
Another point also came back to the table. Some Internet users believe that the overall prize pool will suffer from the absence of certain big names — something that annoys ZeratoR who wanted to be very clear about this: “[…] Always coming back to this race for figures is for me a very harmful element. ZEVENT has NEVER been a race for the pot. YES it’s good to break the record every year, YES it makes us very proud to see that more and more people trust us, but in reality, beyond 1€ it’s already a successful event for us. “

The ZEvent is above all a charity event used to highlight and financially help an association. If you don’t like the association in question or if the streamers present don’t find favor with you, you just have to simply move on.
Appointment therefore (or not) of September 9 to 11 for the ZEvent 2022 in favor of the GoodPlanet Foundationa foundation that deploys various awareness and field programs in favor of ecology and living together.
