Zico Banach is expecting their first child with his partner Pia Tillmann. In the interview, the reality star goes into raptures.
“I’m super proud of Pia,” enthuses reality TV actor Zico Banach (32) about his pregnant partner Pia Tillmann (36). The couple’s first child together will be born in just a few weeks. “To be honest, the nervousness cannot be put into words,” explains the 32-year-old at a Mitsuba PR event in Hamburg, where the company presented its Asian-inspired snacks. Will the wedding bells soon ring for the former “Summer House of the Stars” couple?
Dear Zico, your first child will be born in a few weeks. How nervous are you?
You’ve already revealed the gender, but you’re still keeping the boy’s name a secret, why?
Zico Banach: We actually find it difficult when people around us or even strangers give their two cents in advance and think they have to evaluate the name for themselves. We would like to make decisions free from any external influences and surprise you again after the birth…
Are there any plans to perhaps step in front of the altar soon?
Zico Banach: Let’s put it this way. It was always a dream of mine…
How are you experiencing pregnancy?
Zico Banach: I’m super proud of Pia and I think it’s amazing how she’s mastering everything. It’s unbelievable what a woman has to go through during pregnancy and what her body does!
Are you eating healthier than usual out of solidarity with your wife?
Zico Banach: Pia and I have generally worked a lot on a balanced and healthy diet. We also think it’s important to treat yourself to something every now and then. Once a week I shoot my cooking videos, which are not always healthy and balanced. And it would be a shame to put it in the trash can.
Does Pia sometimes struggle with food cravings?
Zico Banach: Pia actually had a few cravings here and there. My advantage in the whole thing is that I don’t have a sweet tooth, but tend to weaken when it comes to salty snacks. I was therefore happy to accept the invitation to the Mitsuba Asia Weeks.
You became known through your participation in “The Bachelorette”, in 2023 you took part in “Sommerhaus der Stars” together with Pia and in January of this year you took part in “RTL Turmsprung”. What are your future professional plans for this year?
Zico Banach: I’m currently planning my own cooking show; Filming for it will start in the next few weeks. Otherwise, the focus is on our little family. I assume that I am needed at home and then let everything else come to me.
Is there a TV format that you would definitely like to do?
Zico Banach: There are a few formats that I would still like to do. The absolute dream is to take part in “Let’s Dance” at some point.
