Zineb El Rhazoui: “I don’t believe in the great replacement”

Guest of the CNEWS morning show on Tuesday, Zineb El Rhazoui, journalist and writer, indicated that she did not believe in “the great replacement”, a far-right theory carried by Eric Zemmour and taken up by Valérie Pércesse during her meeting at the Zénith de Paris this Sunday.

“I don’t believe in it, it’s a concept in which the far right stuffs everything,” explained Zineb El Rhazoui, who recently announced that he would support Emmanuel Macron in view of the presidential election.

“We are at a time when far-right ideas do not need more presence,” assured the former Charlie Hebdo journalist.

An activist in the fight against Islamism, Zineb El Rhazoui explained that she did not believe in “a return to identity to fight a dangerous ideology”.

“For me, the fight against Islamism was first and foremost a fight for personal emancipation. The prerequisite was to get rid of identity. It is not by withdrawing into a fantasized identity that we will get out of these problems, ”she added, referring to her personal journey.
