A boy, a teenager, a man. Elyaz, the youngest of the Zidane clan, has just celebrated two consecutive events. On December 25, 2021, like much of the rest of the world, he opened his Christmas presents at the foot of the tree. Then the next day, December 26, he celebrated his birthday. And not just any! Born in Madrid in 2005, Zinedine and Véronique Zidane’s son is already 16 years old. He also had the chance to find all his relatives that day, near Marseille.
On social media, of course, family members paid tribute to Elyaz. “Happy birthday my Elyazou. 16 years in family. I love you so much“, writes Enzo.”Happy Birthday my brother. I love you“, adds Luca. Zinedine Zidane met Véronique when he was barely 17 years old, at the hostel for young workers in Cannes, where they both resided. Married since 1994, they formed, together, the one of the most followed family trees in France … and the rest of the world.
