In The Waking Dead: Daryl Dixon, the hero played by Norman Reedus finds himself on our land and will do everything to return home. But before hoping to find his family, Daryl will have to accomplish a perilous mission: protect Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi), a child considered the messiah in this apocalyptic context and take him to a safe place so that he can save the humanity.
He is accompanied by Isabelle (Clémence Poésy), a fighter who operates with a religious cover, and Sylvie (Laïka Blanc-Francard) on his journey through France, which takes him notably to Paris.

The French capital is home to some excellent sequences throughout the season, including Norman Reedus’ favorite scene and he’s not even in it! This is the opening of episode 2: a flashback to the start of the zombie invasion in Paris through the eyes of Isabelle as she returns from a party and takes the metro.
When it was broadcast two months ago in the United States, the sequence had already caused a lot of talk – and even laughter because of a zombie with a beret – but it remains very striking because it returns to the origins of the invasion . And what could be more disconcerting for the French than seeing a subway armored with zombies?
“It’s one of my favorite scenes and I’m not even in it. I love the story [du personnage de Clémence Poésy]. I love watching a sophisticated city like Paris realize for the first time what’s going on. Accidents, fire… She takes the metro and she wonders what’s going on and she tries to understand the situation.” Norman Reedus told us in an interview.
The actor was full of praise for his acting partner Clémence Poésy, a French actress that everyone is chasing in Hollywood:
“Those are some of my favorite moments in an apocalyptic series: watching the collapse begin. It was really interesting working with Clémence. She’s so smart and very intuitive. She takes her time. She thinks what she thinks. she says. She’s authentic as an actress and as a person. But seeing that event in the Paris metro was such a cool sequence.”
The series The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is currently being broadcast on Paramount+ in France.
