Zone Interdite: what is the theme of the show on August 16?

In the heart of this summer 2022, Zone Interdite will be this August 16 dedicated to an exotic and rejuvenating destination in France: the Atlantic coast, and in particular a small corner of Brittany very popular.

For this new issue of Restricted zonethe teams of the magazine presented by Ophelie Meunierexplored a part of France very popular with travellers: the Gulf of Morbihan, a secret holiday paradise, which attracts three million holidaymakers each summer. Brittany has always fascinated in particular by the magical sides it conceals and it is in this context that the magazine went to meet three families: holidaymakers from the Loire, a local couple and an oyster farmer.

The Gulf of Morbihan: an unknown destination 20 years ago and adored today

This “little sea” that means “Morbihan” was still wild and peaceful 20 years ago, without tourists or packet travellers, preserved in comparison with the Côte d’Azur. With its fifty islands protected from the ocean, its turquoise waters, its preserved beaches and its vegetation, the destination looks like a paradise from an adventurer’s novel. This is precisely the reason why many tourists come here to recharge their batteries, like the first family encountered by the journalists. Fond of spending “nature” holidays, these inhabitants of the Loire have chosen to rent a house with their feet in the water, far from civilisation.

For the locals, the attraction for this paradise is also the opportunity to make the most of the game: a couple from Vannes has restored a yacht to host private parties, while an oyster farmer from five generations dedicated to the culture of oysters will try to convince his daughter to take up the torch. A summery and invigorating episode of the magazine that presents Ophelie Meunier for six years already on M6.
